Description and tasting notes
In 2013, Bassim Rahal crafted one of his final masterpieces, creating a special vintage for Cave Kouroum. This wine, already exquisite at its inception, promised remarkable aging potential. A select portion was carefully reserved in our underground cellars. Now, after 11 years, we proudly present Cuvee Bassim, released to honor and celebrate the legacy of Bassim Rahal.
Limited Release: Only 527 numbered bottles were made.
-Varieties: Cinsault 31%, Grenache Noir 28%, Carignan 26%, Syrah 10%, and Cabernet Sauvignon 5%
-Alcohol: 15.5%
-Format: Magnum (1.5L)

-Characteristics: candied cherry, prune, eucalyptus, cloves, nutmeg, leather, and cedarwood
-10 years in 400L oak barrels
-Ready to drink but can also be aged for 15 years
