Grown on the hot dry and gravely soil on the 1300m slopes of Jezzine mountain ridge in the South of Lebanon, this handpicked Cabernet Sauvignon has been vinified with proud ancestral skills giving it a rich bouquet of ripe fruits and chocolate aromas. In the mouth, its rounded tannins and balanced structure are a complement to excellent length. Aged for twelve months in oak barrels, this complex opaque and harmonious wine – of which 5,000 unfiltered bottles are produced each year – is suitable for ageing or present enjoyment. Best served at 17Degrees Celcius after decanting for one hour. Goes well with dishes like steak tartar, steaks medium rare cooked, lamb dishes and heavy cheeses.
