The south is blooming with the vines
Marjeyoun; a beautiful region, a new spot for the first winery in the South of Lebanon and a new touristic location.
When Carol Khoury, the owner of the winery came back to Lebanon, she had a feeling there was something missing in the district of Marjeyoun. She realized it
was none other than everyone’s favorite: wine.
Upon her realization, she decided to fill the void she was feeling and started working relentlessly on introducing a winery to the deep South Governate of the country. Her hard work and perseverance turned her dream into reality, a reality filled with passion and love for wine and everything it takes to make a good wine.
She managed to create the first ever wine from Jdeidet Marjeyoun and les Vignes du Marje became the success it is today due to their beautiful winemaking philosophy that references an artful balance between ripeness and restraint, softness and structure. These characteristics perfectly embody their distinguished wines, one of which has won the Patrice Frank Coup de Coeur award in October 2019.
Les Vignes du Marje is a pioneer, a one-of-a-kind winery.
With a passionate, motivated owner and team; the country is blessed with new flavors from the soil of a never-before harvested land in Lebanon.
