Domaine des Tourelles Wines
Domaine des Tourelles was founded in Chtaura (Bekaa Valley) in 1868 by the French BRUN family to become hence the oldest wine company in Lebanon.
The property extended quickly its reputation beyond the country’s borders as far as the 19th century when it was the first producer from Lebanon to collect gold, silver and bronze medals in the most prestigious wine competitions in the world. This success is also true to the legendary "Arak Brun", the Estate’s renowned arak.
Today, Domaine des Tourelles' yearly production is around 600,000 bottles of wine and 400,000 bottles of arak, as well as its gin brand under the name of GinBey. Described by the Financial Times as “the most seductive winery” in Lebanon, its bottles are sold in more than 20 markets in the world.
The Property's main grape varieties are Cinsault, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Carignan, Chardonnay, Obeidi, Merweh and Tempranillo.
