Chateau Trois Collines Viognier 2022
Description and tasting notes
This specific white presented in its first vintage, is as the rest grown on Trois Collines limestone, steep slopes terroirs, at some 1.600m altitude;
As a Viognier, it is way far from being just a generic; it has a different touch from whatever you know so far!
A fourth leaf harvest, yet not gone through any oak, it is a very crispy and elegant Lebanese- Bekaa White.
Acidity is an asset, a lot of freshness, revealed from the very first sight of a clear yellow robe.
Fine white flowers, to some exotic fruits notes… blend all together on persistent citrusy palate and nose…
The finish is noble as the varietal presumes and promises more bodied vintages in the near future!
Very charming as an aperitif, it can match further in the meal a fresh salmon, to richer garnished mediterranean’s salads…
