Rayak Station du Rayak 2016
Description and tasting notes
Trains are built by men, but cities are built by trains. ‘Station du Rayak’ is a tribute to
the famous Rayak Railroad Station, connecting three continents. Established in1895 in the middle of the fertile Bekaa Valley, it was once the main link between Africa, Asia, and Europe. The complex tastes found in this bottle of wine will take you on a journey back in time, reminiscent of the legacy of the millions of passengers who passed through this station.
Grape Variety:
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah
Produced with 9 types of grapes with a dark ruby red color, this wine is highly aromatic,
perfectly balanced. Bouquet of red ripe cherries, oak honey, and blackberries. The grapes used in this wine are organically raised and delicately cultivated from our vineyards in Terboul. The fermentation takes place at our small artisanal winery in Rayak. The whole process is labored and operated by family members with only a few external
interventions.
